Salt Snob
What does the QR code on the pouch do?
It opens the certificate of analysis for your pouch’s exact lot: mineral content against the label, heavy metals and microbial tests from an independent lab. You can also type the lot number into Check a lot at the top of any page.
Who tests it, and what do they test for?
An independent, accredited lab, not us. Every lot is checked for its minerals against what the label says, for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury) and for microbes.
What happens if a lot fails?
It doesn’t ship. A lot that misses our limits never leaves the warehouse, and we only post a report once a lot has passed.
Why so few ingredients?
Every extra ingredient is one more thing to test and one more thing you have to take on trust. We use what each formula needs to work and taste good, and we name every one on the pouch. No proprietary blends, no “natural flavors”.
What’s the difference between the formulas?
Morning Person is the first glass of the day. Purist is the everyday electrolyte, Gym Rat is for training and Night Owl is for sleep. Each one has its own lot reports, and the same QR code on every pouch.
Can I cancel or change my subscription?
Yes. Skip, pause, change the timing or cancel any time from your account, in two taps. No calls, no forms. Manage subscription
Morning Person
Shop Morning Person →Why is there no sweetener?
Because it doesn’t need one. Organic lemon and apple cider vinegar balance the salt the way a squeeze of lemon balances a glass of mineral water. Most people are surprised they don’t miss the sweetness.
How much sodium is 500 mg?
About 22% of the FDA daily value, and roughly half of what the saltiest electrolyte sticks carry. It’s enough to taste like something, but not so much that it tastes like seawater.
Is it keto, vegan and gluten free?
It has 0 g sugar and no carbohydrate-based fillers, contains no animal products, and has no gluten-containing ingredients.
Purist
Shop Purist →What makes it different?
Three minerals and real fruit, nothing else, one named salt source, and heavy-metal results from an independent lab published for every lot. You don’t have to take our word for it; scan the pouch.
Why no sweetener?
Because every added ingredient is one more thing to test and trust. The fruit does the job a sweetener would. Most electrolyte brands use stevia or allulose; we don’t.
When should I take it?
Whenever you want it: morning, at your desk, training, travel or hot days. There’s no routine. One stick in 16–32 oz of water.
Is 1,000 mg of sodium a lot?
It’s about 43% of the FDA daily value, similar to the saltiest sticks on the market. Great for sweaty days; if you watch your sodium intake for medical reasons, ask your doctor first.
Gym Rat
Shop Gym Rat →When should I take it?
During or straight after training, or any time you’ve sweated a lot. One stick per session for most people; a second on long or very hot days.
Why monk fruit?
Salt on its own tastes briny after a hard session. A little monk fruit rounds it off without sugar, sucralose or stevia. It has no calories.
Can I take it with Morning Person?
Yes. Morning Person is your first glass of the day; Gym Rat is for the session. If you watch your sodium intake for medical reasons, ask your doctor first.
Is it vegan and gluten free?
It has 0 g sugar, contains no animal products and has no gluten-containing ingredients.
